This course is about the concepts and principles of modern operation systems. It includes: design and implementation of multi-process systems; process synchronization, mutual exclusion; CPU scheduling, deadlock, memory management, segmentation, paging, virtual memory; storage management, file system management, protection and security, evaluation and prediction of performance.
