This section of the course meets on Monday and Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m., in Porter, Room 117.

This course is an introduction to the rendering of 3D computer graphics images. The main topics covered will be rendering algorithms and data structures, a software implementation of a basic 3D graphics pipeline, geometric modeling, model & view transformations, projections, color, textures, lighting, shading, and interactive event-driven programming. We will also emphasize the software engineering aspects of organizing, building, documenting, and distributing a medium sized codebase.
